Job Description

Job Title: Daycare Counsellor

Location: Techzone-4, Greater Noida (West)

Position Overview: The Daycare Counsellor will play a crucial role in supporting the emotional and social well-being of children. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in a teaching or playschool setting, excellent communication skills, and basic computer proficiency to assist with record-keeping and communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Emotional Support: Provide one-on-one and group counseling to children, helping them navigate their feelings and develop social skills.
  • Observation and Assessment: Monitor children’s behavior and development, identifying any concerns and implementing appropriate strategies or interventions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with teachers and staff to create a cohesive approach to supporting children’s emotional and social needs.
    Parent Communication: Maintain open communication with parents and caregivers, offering insights into their child’s development and strategies for at-home support.
  • Program Development: Assist in developing and implementing programs and activities that promote emotional intelligence, conflict resolution, and social skills.
  • Record Keeping: Utilize basic computer skills for documentation of sessions, observations, and communication with parents and staff.

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of experience in a daycare, playschool, or early childhood education setting (preferred).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine ability to connect with children and their families.
  • Basic computer skills for record-keeping and communication purposes.
  • Understanding of child development principles and effective counselling techniques.
