Job Overview:
We are seeking a Garment Technician to provide technical expertise in garment construction, quality control, and sample development. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of garment fitting, technical specifications, and production processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical guidance on garment construction and manufacturing techniques.
- Assist in sample development, ensuring all garments meet quality and design specifications.
- Conduct fit sessions and collaborate with the design team to make necessary modifications.
- Identify and resolve technical issues related to garment production.
- Work closely with pattern makers to ensure accuracy and precision in patterns.
- Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards in garment production.
- Assist in cost estimation and production feasibility studies.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
- Degree/Diploma in Textile Technology, Fashion Design, or a related field.
- Freshers or candidates with relevant experience are welcome.
- Strong knowledge of fabric properties, garment construction, and technical specifications.
- Proficiency in CAD software (Lectra, Gerber, Optitex) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work closely with production, quality, and design teams.
