Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Fabric Store InCharge to manage the storage, handling, and distribution of fabric materials at our Sachin, GIDC, Surat facility. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in inventory management and coordination with procurement, production, and quality control teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the receipt, storage, and issuance of fabrics to ensure smooth production operations.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and update stock levels regularly.
- Conduct periodic stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.
- Coordinate with procurement teams for timely replenishment of fabric stock.
- Ensure proper handling, labeling, and storage of fabric to prevent damage and wastage.
- Implement best practices in inventory management, reducing loss and inefficiency.
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to meet operational requirements.
- Generate and maintain reports on fabric usage, stock movements, and reorder levels.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in fabric store management or inventory control.
- Strong knowledge of textile materials and storage procedures.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and Excel.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple departments and handle logistics efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.
